It is burglar resistant door, the construction of which was created applying the knowledge of all possible ways and methods of burglary. Burglar resistance of the security door SKYDAS STANDART 2 was tested and approved by the laboratory IFT Rosenheim, Germany, and was awarded the 2nd security class (RC2) according to the newest EN 1627:2011 standard. The locks installed in this door model must be no lower than 3rdsecurity class and one lock must be protected by a drilling proof plate. SKYDAS STANDART is distinguished by excellent sound and thermal insulation and therefore is suitable both for private houses and apartments. The door SKYDAS STANDART 2 can be fire resistant and opened inwards or outwards.

Standard door set:
1. Door frame – bent L-shaped profile of 100 mm, fixed in the door aperture by 16 pins, protected from cutting by steel liners of 24 mm. Complete thermal insulation by rock wool or foam.
2. Door leaf – special bent metal construction with 100% thermal insulation by two 50 mm rock wool sheets. Total width of the leaf is 75 mm. With a protective box of the lock.
3. Hinges with supporting bearings, covered with chrome-plated finishing caps – 2 pieces.
4. Protective pins for door hinges  – 2 roll pins 16 mm Ø, 4 stable pins 12 mm  Ø.
5. Insulation seals – 2 pieces.
6. Additional fire resistant seal (if the door has to be fire resistant).
7. Peephole.

Door characteristics

Specially bent L-shaped 100 mm wide door frame is not only wider than that of ordinary armoured door, but also has 6 bending edges and thus is stronger than rectangular or tube frame, which have only 4 bending edges. Moreover, the frame is fixed in the opening by 16 plugs, which are protected from cutting by steel liners of 24 mm, thus there is no need to fix the door in concrete. Internal leaf construction is reinforced by rigid edges that do not allow deforming the door easily during burglary. The locks installed in this door model must be no lower than 3rdsecurity class and one of them must be protected by a drilling resistant plate.

On the hinges side there are 6 protective pins that do not allow dislodging the door leaf if the hinges are cut. Two pins (16 mm Ø) roll on bearings and therefore are difficult to cut. The other 4 pins (12 mm Ø) are stable.

 Saves the heat in your home
As the bent profile leaf structure does not have closed cavities, it can be completely thermally insulated by 50 mm rock wool. The L-shaped bent frame and threshold ensure exclusive tightness as an additional seal is applied to the entire perimeter (two seals in total).

Thermal transmittance of SKYDAS STANDART 2 is 1.3 W/(m2K), i.e. the same like of 6-chamber plastic windows (the lower the transmittance, the more heat is held in). Therefore, this door is suitable not only for an apartment, but also for a private house (using the materials suitable for outdoor conditions).

 Tight, good heat and sound insulation 
Due to the above mentioned full thermal insulation of the door construction, the sound insulation of the door SKYDAS STANDART 2 is 41 dB.
This door is especially tight and therefore, perfectly shuts out the odours and smoke from the outside.

 Fire resistant
With additional fire resistant components SKYDAS STANDART 2 can protect from fire for as long as 45 minutes and withstand the temperature of 1000ºC. The certificate was issued by Inspecta Estonia OU, No. 1527-CPD-0017. It is especially relevant in apartment buildings, where fire can spread from the neighbours or when the door is set on fire, and in private houses – from the boiler room or garage.

 Durable and lasting, convenient to use
All SKYDAS doors are manufactured by especially precise programmed machines Amada, which can process metal with the precision of 0.1 mm, therefore, their construction is precisely accurate and straight. As hinges with supporting bearings are used, the doors are easy to open and close, despite of heavier weight characteristic to metal doors. The tests indicated that after 200,000 cycles of opening and closing, the construction of the door remained completely intact.

As the internal construction of the door has no closed cavities, the entire metal construction is covered in powder coating, which ensures long-term surface protection from corrosion.

The door finish is usually made of painted or PVC laminated MDF or Umidax-HLS board. Polyurethane paint is resistant to moisture, discolouring, cracking, and peeling; and PVC laminated MDF or Umidax-HLS board is especially resistant to scratching and chipping of corners.

Under necessity, door finish can be easily replaced.

 Simple to take care of
Painted or PVC laminated door finish does not require any specific care and is easy to clean.

Choose a design from nearly 200 our finish carvings or we will manufacture a door according to an individual projectprepared by an architect or us.

However, if higher security level is necessary, choose security doors SKYDAS STANDART 3, or SKYDAS PREMIUM PLIUSwhich burglar resistance was tested and certified in an authoritative notified scientific research laboratory IFT Rosenheim, Germany. These door models were created applying the knowledge of the above mentioned laboratory of all possible ways and methods of burglary.


Technical data

The door is manufactured precisely according to necessary measurements.

Burglar resistance certificate is applicable to door measurements 2100×980 mm. The height and width of the door can be increased by 10% or reduced by 20%.

Fire resistance EI45 of the fire resistant door is applicable to measurements up to 2100x 980 mm. If the height or width is increased by 15% (but not more than 20% of the total area), fire resistance will be EI30.
